INCIDENT: PC 69 - Resisting Arrest
LOCATION: 600 Block of Cibola Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Tyrell Watahomigie, 18-years-old, Resident of Supai, AZ
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, May 6, 2024, deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reference a disturbance near the 600 block of Cibola Street. When deputies arrived on scene, they contacted the parties involved and the suspect, Tyrell Watahomigie.
During the investigation, Watahomigie attempted to flee on foot, but was stopped by deputies. Watahomigie assaulted the deputies as he was being taken into custody and was placed under arrest without further incident.
Watahomigie was arrested for PC 69 - Resisting/Obstructing Arrest and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Watahomigie remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
