Flood Advisory until 03:15PM

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following counties, southeastern Franklin, Jefferson, southwestern Saint Louis and northwestern Washington.

* WHEN...Until 315 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1220 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Arnold, Festus, Union, Eureka, Pacific, De Soto, Pevely, Crystal City, St. Clair, Herculaneum, Hillsboro, Byrnes Mill, Cedar Hill, High Ridge, Gray Summit, Antonia, Villa Ridge, Murphy, Barnhart and Oakville.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FRANKLIN, MO ... JEFFERSON, MO ... ST. LOUIS, MO ... WASHINGTON, MO
