LOCATION: Front Street and H Street, Needles, CA 92363
SUSPECT(S): Confidential Male Juvenile, 15-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, January 7, 2024, at approximately 11:03 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department, contacted four male juveniles near Front Street and H Street in Needles. During the course of the investigation, one of the juveniles was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and ammunition. The 15-year-old male juvenile is on probation and is prohibited from being in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The juvenile was arrested on the above charges and transported to Apple Valley Juvenile Hall for booking. The juvenile remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Probation Department, awaiting a court hearing. The other three juveniles were released at the scene.
