Flood Advisory until 09:00PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Missouri, including the following counties, in east central Missouri, east central Crawford, southeastern Jefferson and central Washington. In southeast Missouri, northwestern Saint Francois and northwestern Sainte Genevieve.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 605 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bonne Terre, Potosi, Olympian Village, Mineral Point, Old Mines, Cadet, Blackwell, Latty, Valles Mill, Shirley and French Village.
