At 150 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Winston-Salem to 12 miles southeast of Statesville to 4 miles southwest of Huntersville to 10 miles northwest of York. Movement was east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gastonia, Uptown Charlotte, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, Salisbury, Statesville, Shelby, Lincolnton, and Mocksville.
