May 3, 2024:
- Officer Debczak and Officer Frazier responded to the 100 block of Rockwell Street for a domestic dispute. A 51-year-old male was arrested for violation of a personal protection order.
- Officer Allison responded to Wildwood Avenue and Edward Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 56-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Park Place for an intoxicated subject. A 31-year-old female was arrested for resisting and obstructing.
- Officer Schram responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of East Robinson Street. A 36-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Justice was dispatched to West Michigan Avenue and South Jackson Street for a domestic situation. A 24-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault; felonious assault; malicious destruction of property; felony firearms; and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
- Officer Frazier responded to a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of Laurel Lane. A 51-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 700 block of West Michigan Avenue for a domestic situation. The male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
- Officers attended the Bikers Against Bullies event.
- Officer Reasoner responded to the 100 block of West Michigan Avenue for a found firearm.
- Officer Brooker made contact with subjects near West North Street and Hamilton Street. A 25-year-old male and a 49-year-old female were arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject in the 100 block of East Washington Avenue. A 27-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Washington Avenue for a shooting. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition. A 23-year-old male at the scene was arrested for disorderly conduct.
- Officer Soloman located a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of East Washington Avenue. The vehicle was impounded at the owner’s request.
- Officer Mills responded to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of North Blackstone Street. The 29-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
- Officer Brooker made contact with a subject near North Mechanic Street and East Trail Street. The 61-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 700 block of North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a found firearm.
- Officer Marcum responded to the Jackson Crossing Mall for subjects shoplifting. A 25-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants. A 32-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Retail fraud charges will be sought on both subjects.
- Officer Debczak was dispatched to the 1100 block of Lewis Road for a breaking and entering report.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of Summit Avenue for a possible arson. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Mills investigated an assault that occurred on Warwick Court. Assault charges will be sought on a 34-year-old male.
