Deputies from Chino Hills Arrest Man a Day After He Assaults and Kidnaps Woman

SUSPECT(S): Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson, 24-years-old, resident of Chino Hills, California
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a kidnapping occurred in the 15000 block of Palomino Dr. in Chino Hills. The suspect, identified as Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson, argued with the victim. The argument escalated into a physical altercation and Lockwood-Stinson assaulted the victim, causing her to suffer significant injuries. Lockwood-Stinson took the victim's cell phone and wallet, and she fled the location.
Lockwood-Stinson later found the victim and forced her into his vehicle. The victim attempted to escape, but Lockwood-Stinson grabbed her by the hair and struck her multiple times. Lockwood-Stinson threatened to attack her again if she attempted to escape and drove the victim to her residence and fled the scene. The victim reported the crime at the Chino Hills Police Station.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, deputies and investigators from the Chino Hills Police Station obtained an arrest warrant and contacted Lockwood-Stinson near his residence. Lockwood-Stinson was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
