Deputies Serve a Search Warrant at a Needles House Resulting in the Arrest of Five Individuals

DATE/TIME: Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 04:10 p.m.

INCIDENT: Health and Safety Code 11366 - Maintaining a drug house, Health and Safety Code 11365(a) - Visit or remain at a place were drugs are used, Health and Safety Code 11364(a) - Possession of drug paraphernalia, Health and Safety Code 11377(a) - Possession of a controlled substance

LOCATION: 400 block of D Street, Needles CA

SUSPECT(S): Hopper, Lexxus, 31-year-old, resident of Needles
                        Michelle Glatz, 42-year-old, resident of Needles 
                        Tuesday Gloyn, 46-year-old, resident of Needles
                        Bradford Schaffer, 45-year-old, resident of Needles
                        Joezetta Jackson, 44-year-old, resident of  Needles


VICTIM(S): The State of California


SUMMARY: On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at about 4:10 p.m., detectives and deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff’s station / Needles Police served a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of D Street. During the search, evidence was located indicating the residence was maintained as a place where drugs were being sold and used, a violation of Health and Safety Code 11366.

Lexxus Hopper was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for maintaining a drug house and is being held on $30,000 bail. Michelle Glatz, Tuesday Gloyn, Bradford Schaffer and Joezetta Jackson were all arrested and booked at the Colorado River Station jail for various misdemeanor narcotic related charges and warrants. They were later issued citations and released.
