Are you interested in learning about crime and crime prevention in your neighborhood? Rosemead residents and businesses in Reporting District 0532 (New Avenue, San Gabriel Boulevard, Graves Avenue, and the 10 Freeway) are invited to attend an in-person Community Area Watch Meeting held at the Garvey Park, Youth Center, 7933 Emerson Place, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event is hosted by the City of Rosemead Public Safety Department in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Temple Station Special Assignment Team.

The Community Area Watch Meeting is an opportunity to meet our newly appointed Rosemead Chief of Police Lt. Tiwari, the Special Assignment Deputy who patrols 0532, Code Enforcement Officers, and the Public Safety Team.  In addition, at this meeting, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will share valuable insights on crime prevention strategies and discuss the various resources available for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.
