The Upper Macungie Township Police Department is investigating the theft of a package.  On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, shortly after noon, a resident in the 8800 block of Valley West in the Fogelsville section of U.M.T. had a package delivered by Federal Express (Fed-Ex).  The package was left on the front porch.  A few minutes later, a dark complected male wearing a blue reflective vest arrived in a black Nissan Versa.  The male exited his vehicle, stole the package, and then left the area at an high rate of speed.  The male was reportedly sitting in his vehicle in the neighborhood for approximately an hour prior to the package delivery.  Approximately five minutes later, a silver Toyota Sienna arrived at the residence.  It appeared to be followed by a white Dodge Charger.  A male carrying a "Door Dash" bag exited the Toyota, walked up to the same home's front porch, and upon seeing there were no packages returned to his vehicle and both vehicles departed.  Anyone with information and/or video is requested to contact the Upper Macungie Township Police Department.
