VICTIM(S): Wal-Mart
39-year-old male of Victorville
26-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Jamie Lynn Salvador, 37-year-old female of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
Early in the morning on Thursday, May 9, 2024, deputies were dispatched to Wal-Mart for a female subject threatening employees and entering the store outside of regular business hours.
Deputies responded to the store, located at 20251 State Highway 18 in the Town of Apple Valley, and Deputy A. Gonzalez investigated this incident. The investigation revealed the suspect, Jamie Lynn Salvador, approached the entrance to the store before the store opened for business. Two employees notified Salvador the business was not open, and she could not enter. Salvador then produced a screwdriver, threatened the employees, and entered the store. When deputies arrived on scene Salvador attempted to flee the store with unpaid merchandise. Salvador was quickly apprehended and taken into custody without incident.
Jamie Lynn Salvador was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for housing on the above listed charges, where she is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
