INCIDENT: PC 664/211 Attempted Robbery
LOCATION: 24000 block of Redlands Boulevard, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Edward James II Elsasser, 52-year-old resident of Loma Linda
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Friday, May 10, 2024, at approximately 12:36 p.m., Deputy Chavez responded to the 24000 block of Redlands Boulevard in Loma Linda reference an attempted robbery. The victim was at a local eatery when the suspect, Edward James II Elsasser, approached and demanded the victim's property. When the victim refused to hand over their property, Elsasser attempted to forcibly remove the victim's wrist watch from their person. Elsasser was unsuccesful in stealing the wrist watch and fled from the location on foot. Deputy B. Chavez and Deputy R. Alfaro located Elsasser near the surrounding area and apprehended him.
Edward James II Elsasser was arrested for PC 664/211- Attempted Robbery, a felony. Elsasser was booked into the Central Detention Center where he is being held on $500,000.00 bail.
