* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Brazos, Grimes, Montgomery and Northern Liberty.
* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop across the Watch area Sunday into Monday producing rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts of 6 inches or more. Area soils are already saturated due to previous heavy rain events with 1 and 3 hour Flash Flood Guidance around 2 to 3 inches, so the additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
