* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Coleman, Concho, Mason, McCulloch, Runnels and San Saba.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Very heavy rain has occurred in the last ten days across this area and additional showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur today. These thunderstorms could produce heavy rainfall which would result in flash flooding of low-lying areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
