* At 511 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Iowa, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Welsh and Fenton around 515 PM CDT. Pine Island around 520 PM CDT. Jennings around 525 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Roanoke and Lacassine. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 41 and 62.
