Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges.

On May 10, at approximately 2:41 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 2200 block of North Market Street, when they observed a male subject acting in a suspicious manner. Police made contact with 19-year-old Kyaire Harris, who was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, and was taken into custody without incident.

Harris has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
• Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine
