ESCONDIDO – During the week of May 5th through 11th, a male adult was reported to have exposed himself to several women while seated in his vehicle. The suspect drove alongside the unsuspecting women and, after making a lewd comment, directed the women to his indecent acts.  These incidents occurred near the 2400 block of South Escondido Blvd. and Cranston Drive.
The suspect is described as a heavyset white or Hispanic adult male with a round face and facial hair. He was seen driving an older gray or black Volvo station wagon. Police investigators believe there may be additional victims. We are requesting that those victims or anyone with information regarding these incidents contact Officer Martin Mohammed at 760-839-4442.
 
Safety Point:  Individuals who engage in this type of lewd conduct often look for unsuspecting women who are out on a walk or returning to their car in a parking lot. These criminals will attempt to get the victim's attention and call them to their vehicle under the ruse of a question. At this time, the criminal will direct their attention to the lewd act. The Escondido Police Department encourages the public to avoid responding to or approaching men trying to get the attention of young women or children. If a lewd act is witnessed, do not confront the suspect. Instead, immediately contact the Escondido Police Department and report details of the crime.

ESCONDIDO- Durante la semana del 5 al 11 de mayo, se informó que un hombre adulto se expuso ante varias mujeres mientras estaba sentado en su vehículo. El sospechoso se acercaba a las mujeres desprevenidas y, después de hacer un comentario lascivo, dirigía a las mujeres a sus actos indecentes. Estos incidentes ocurrieron cerca de la cuadra 2400 de South Escondido Blvd. y Cranston Drive.
El sospechoso es descrito como un hombre adulto blanco o hispano de constitución robusta con un rostro redondo y vello facial. Fue visto conduciendo una camioneta vieja Volvo color gris o negro. Los investigadores policiales creen que puede haber víctimas adicionales. Solicitamos que esas víctimas o cualquier persona con información sobre estos incidentes contacten al Oficial Martin Mohammed al 760-839-4442.
