Summary:
 
Cruising the Boulevard, Inc. is having their annual Car Show and Cruise on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in Downtown Petaluma.  This will be celebrating the 17^th anniversary of this event.  They are requesting street closures for the purpose of the Car Show and Cruise. The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and end at approximately 8:00 pm (10 hours).  The cruise starts at 4:00 pm.  Road closures will take effect starting at 5:00am.  The road closures will remain in effect until 8:00pm.
 
Road closures will include the following:
Water St, American Alley, Telephone Alley, and the A St Parking Lot
Petaluma Blvd North (between D St and Washington St)
The #2 eastbound lane of Washington St (between Keller St and Petaluma Blvd N) Western Avenue (between Petaluma Blvd N and Keller St)
4^th St / Kentucky St (between D St and Washington St)
B St (between 2^nd St and 5^th St)
C St (between 2^nd St and 5^th St)
2^nd St (between B St and C St)
 
Eastbound and Westbound traffic on D Street will be condensed to one lane in each direction starting at 4:00pm for the actual cruise portion of the event.  Westbound traffic on D St will not be allowed from Northbound Petaluma Blvd S during this time as well.
 
During the Cruise, Classic cars who are entered into the event will be exiting D Street and will have the option of driving up to 10^th Street and turning onto B Street and reentering the event at B Street and 4^th Street.
 
The Police Department will be working this event to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. The Petaluma Police Department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding, and requests those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel.
