At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Lincolnton, or 5 miles west of Denver, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Lincolnton, Huntersville, Cornelius, Mt Holly, Stanley, Westport, High Shoals, Boger City, Iron Station, and Denver.
