Wilmington Police arrest man on gun charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges.
On May 10, at approximately 11:04 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1700 block of West 3rd Street, in reference to a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with a male subject, who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, police took 22-year-old Anthony Johnson into custody without incident and recovered a loaded 9mm handgun.
Johnson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
