The roadway is now open to traffic and the area has been cleared.
An accident is resposible for downed power lines near the intersection of Highway 17 and Garr Lane in downtown Hardeeville. Crews from Hargray are on the way to repair the issue. Please avoid the area if possible while the work is taking place. Police are on the scene. They expect the issue to be resolved in a couple hours.
