Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the male suspect pictured below in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Monday, May 13, 2024.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., Police responded to the Wilson Mini Mart, located in the 100 block of Wilson Avenue, on a call of a burglary. After using a rock to shatter the store’s front door, the suspect entered the store and stole an undetermined number of cigarette boxes from behind the register.
Detectives investigating this incident describe the suspect as wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and white pants.
