LOCATION: Adelanto High School, 15620 Joshua Road in Adelanto
SUSPECT: 3 female juveniles
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 12:48 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a 911 call at Adelanto High School. The female caller stated a male student at Adelanto High School was armed with a gun.
Deputies arrived at the school within one minute. While at the school, a similar call was received regarding Silverado High School. Through coordinated efforts between the Victorville and Victor Valley stations, deputies were able to identify the caller.
Both reports were unsubstantiated. Deputies from the Victorville Station made contact with three juveniles responsible for falsely reporting an emergency on 911, and will continue the investigation.
