UPDATE: Additional Search Warrants Served in Connection to Ongoing Stolen Property Investigation

WARRANTS
LOCATION: 10700 Block of Boy Scout Ranch Road, Pinon Hills
SUSPECT: Alejandro Gonzalez, 39-years-old, Resident of Los Angeles
Jose Guzman, 38-years-old, Resident of Los Angeles
UPDATE: May 16, 2024 - On May 15, 2024, at 3:11pm, an additional search warrant was served at the residence to recover additional stolen property. Nearly $20,000 worth of fencing was recovered on the property. The fencing was purchased with stolen credit cards in the Sacramento area and shipped to this address.

SUMMARY: On Friday, May 10, 2024, Deputies R. Morales and G. Tutor responded to an area check in Pinon Hills for a stolen Bobcat. They were told the Bobcat could be identified by an attachment on the front, used for breaking concrete. Deputies located the equipment inside a locked gate at a residence in the 10700 block of Boy Scout Ranch Road.
Deputies contacted a subject at the residence, Alejandro Gonzalez. A search warrant was authored by Deputy Morales, and with the assistance of Detectives C. Bennington and T. Bechtol from the Victor Valley Station, and Deputy L. Torres from the Rural Crimes Task Force, executed the warrant.
During a search of the property, a second subject, Jose Guzman, was located. Inside the house, deputies located ammunition which included ammunition for a high-powered rifle. In addition to the stolen bobcat, two additional stolen skid steers were located.
Gonzalez and Guzman were both arrested without incident. Guzman is a convicted felon and had a $1,110,000.00 warrant for his arrest out of Los Angeles County for weapons violations. Gonzalez is a PC 290 Registrant, and he was found in possession of methamphetamine. Methamphetamine was also found in his vehicle.
