In response to a statewide rise in serious motor vehicle crashes, the South Brunswick Police Department has begun a series of enforcement details designed to keep our highways safe. We will be focusing on intersections, distracted driving, and speed, but will also be enforcing other violations observed.
 
To be sure that other roadways in our township also receive attention, we will also be continuing our traffic enforcement details as scheduled.
 
Traffic Enforcement Details From May 18^th to May 24^th:
 
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details over the next week:
 
West Side:

May 18^th to May 24^th: Finnegans Lane: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Traffic Signal Violations
 
East Side:

May 18^th to May 24^th: Stults Road/Herrod Boulevard: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Stop Sign Violations
 
These traffic enforcement details will be conducted in addition to our Department's routine traffic enforcement efforts. 
 
 
Road Closure – Saturday Morning:

Plainsboro will be closing Broadway Road/Scotts Corner Road at Friendship Road from 8am to 11am for a 5k. Please plan to use alternate routes of travel during the closure.
