Around 10:30 a.m., today, May 17, 2024, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Task Force, in addition to officers with the Bluffton Police Department, conducted an arrest operation in the area of Martha Brown Circle and Goethe Road in Bluffton.

Following the months-long investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in Bluffton, multiple individuals were identified.

The below individuals were arrested on the following charges:

• Zachary Daniel Buzzetto, 39, of Bluffton
  • Distribution of methamphetamine 1st, excludes manufacturing meth
  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine within a half mile of a school
• Jesus Mike Rosario, 66, of Hilton Head Island
  • Simple possession of crack cocaine
  • Possession of marijuana 28 grams < 10 grams hash, 1st
• Christopher James Sparks, 52, of Bluffton
  • Manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, 1st
  • Distribute, sell, manufacture, possession with intent to distribute, or purchase of controlled substance within proximity of school
• Stuart Bertram Lupinski, 33, of Bluffton
  • Manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, 1st
  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine within a half mile of a school
• Donnell Antonio Mitchell, Sr., 56, of Bluffton
  • Manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, 1st (x2)
  • Possession with intent to distribute crack within a half mile of a school (x3)

The individuals arrested are currently in custody at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
