Skid Steer Stolen from Hesperia Rental Company is Located and Recovered in Fresno County

LOCATION: Apex Rentals, 9262 C Ave., Hesperia
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 8:39 p.m., Detective Z. Vogel and Deputy L. Torres from the Rural Crimes Task Force investigated the theft of a stolen skid steer from Apex Rentals in Hesperia.
Investigators were able to coordinate with California High Patrol (CHP) and place a "be on the look-out" for the possible suspect vehicle. CHP located the stolen equipment off Highway 5 north of Jayne Avenue, in the city of Coalinga (Fresno County). Torres and Vogel responded to the scene and identified the stolen skid steer. The stolen skid steer was returned to Apex Rentals in Hesperia. No additional information is available at the time of this release.
