Caney Creek near Splendora affecting Harris and Montgomery Counties. For the East Fork San Jacinto River...including New Caney, Cleveland...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork San Jacinto at Cleveland.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor flood stage begins as water begins flooding Wells Avenue.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Saturday was 19.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 10.3 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.7 feet on 06/27/1999. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
