On Monday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 22, Consumers Energy natural gas crews will perform a routine inspection on gas lines that will require odorized natural gas venting. On these days, odorized gas will be vented at 21403 Dunham Rd. Clinton Twp., MI 48036. This odorized gas has a rotten egg odor, and Consumers Energy will add a masking agent to help reduce the gas odor as much as possible. Gas will be vented intermittently from noon to 6 pm for approximately 30 minutes. As safety is a priority, if you suspect a gas emergency call 9-1-1 first and then call Consumers 1-800-477-5050.
