Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 5/20/2024 at 1453 hours deputies responded to a two-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of US 12 and Conrad Rd., Milton Township, Cass County, Michigan. The investigation showed that 64-year-old Terri Hart of LaGrange, IN was traveling Eastbound on US 12. 18- year-old Abigail Robbins of Edwardsburg, MI was traveling south on Conrad Rd. Robbins failed to yield when attempting to cross the intersection causing the collision.
Hart went by Edwardsburg Ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Both parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Alcohol and Drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Edwardsburg Fire Department, Michigan State Police, and Ontwa Township/ Edwardsburg Police.
