Tuesday (05/21): Increased Threat For Severe Storms

• What: Severe storms with a damaging wind, hail and tornado threat. Locally heavy rain also expected.
• SPC Outlook Risk Level: 3 out of 5
• Where: entire area  [IA, MN, WI]
• Timing: Some morning storms that could be strong to severe, but highest risk of severe weather will be between 3-9pm.
• Impacts: damage from hail to property, homes possible. Winds could lead to tree damage, downed power lines. Localized flooding possible, with rises on some rivers and streams
• ACTION:  Stay weather aware and have a plan! Be prepared to take shelter immediately if warnings are issued.
