City of Viroqua Storm Shelter Activated 
With the potential in place for severe weather to develop this afternoon and evening the City of Viroqua will open the Community Safe Room for the public to shelter in. The Safe Room located in the lower level of Viroqua City Hall at 124 West Decker Street will be open from 3:00pm-9:00pm today.
The Safe Room was built to resist wind forces, wind-driven rains, and other debris impacts from a storm. The space is equipped to provide access to basic essentials including bathrooms, portable water, minimal food, basic sanitation, basic first aid, and electricity.
