Advisory: Gas odor today 
Today, a contractor at “Fuel Cell Energy” on Hancock Ave. in Bridgeport started a “controlled purge” at that facility. This caused an odor which may be smelled throughout that area including the Stratfield section of Fairfield.
They will continue this process for the next few hours and possibly tomorrow. There is no danger to the public.
