The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office proudly announces the grand opening of its first-ever off-campus recruitment center, located in the Thousand Oaks Mall. Shoppers and prospective applicants can find the Store Front on the second floor near the Women’s Macy’s.
The establishment of the recruitment center marks a significant step forward in community engagement and accessibility for those interested in law enforcement careers. The center is designed to provide a direct point of contact between the community and the Sheriff’s Office, facilitating a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities within the department. Prospective candidates will have the unique opportunity to interact directly with current employees, recruiters, and background investigators from the Human Resources Division.
In addition to serving as a recruitment hub, the center will house a classroom operated by the Ventura County Criminal Justice Training Center. This space will host various educational and training sessions for academy participants, further emphasizing the Sheriff’s Office’s commitment to comprehensive professional development.
