The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect until 9 PM AKDT this evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Tanana Flats, Eielson AFB and Salcha, Goldstream Valley and Nenana Hills, Chatanika River Valley, Two Rivers, Fairbanks Metro Area and Nenana.
* TIMING...Until 9 PM AKDT this evening.
* WINDS...Southeast 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* HUMIDITY...As low as 18 to 25 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...In the mid 70s.
* IMPACTS...Dry, warm and windy conditions will continue through this evening. This could push trees into power lines and start fires. Humidity will start to rise and temperatures fall after 9 pm this evening.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TANANA FLATS ... EIELSON AFB AND SALCHA ... GOLDSTREAM VALLEY AND NENANA HILLS ... CHATANIKA RIVER VALLEY ... TWO RIVERS ... FAIRBANKS METRO AREA ... NENANA
