Meridian Police Arrest Burglary Suspect After Short Pursuit
On May 21, 2024 at approximately 6:20 p.m. Meridian Police located burglary suspect, Daniel STRATTON (33) of Caldwell, in the area of E. 5
th and Idaho Street, Meridian. Upon making initial contact with STRATTON, who was in his vehicle, STRATTON fled in his vehicle for a short distance before stopping. STRATTON was arrested on three (3) felony counts of Burglary stemming from commercial burglaries from Home Depots in Meridian and Boise and misdemeanor Eluding Police.
It is alleged STRATTON was stealing lawn mowers at these locations and then selling them online.
STRATTON was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above mentioned charges.
