Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On May 20, at approximately 12:40 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 900 block of Kirkwood Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Officers made contact with 35-year-old William Taylor, who was taken into custody without incident. Police recovered 5.03 grams of crack cocaine, and .637 grams of heroin.
Taylor has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $16,500 cash-only bail.
