Columbia Water Boil Water Repeal
To Columbia Water Customers located at Mallet Hill Rd. from White Birch Cir. to Miles Rd., Miles Rd. from Mallet Hill Rd. to Three Bears Rd., and Smallwood Rd. from Mallet Hill Rd. to White Birch Cir.
Columbia Water laboratory staff advises the water customers of Mallet Hill Rd. from White Birch Cir. to Miles Rd., Miles Rd. from Mallet Hill Rd. to Three Bears Rd., and Smallwood Rd. from Mallet Hill Rd. to White Birch Cir. , located in Richland County, they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.
Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the City of Columbia Water Department. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
