Green Bay Police Department Welcomes Five New Patrol Officers
The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) has grown by five new Patrol Officers. This follows a swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, bringing the department to 180 sworn staff.
“Recruiting the best people to serve in the Green Bay Police Department is one of our highest priorities. I am honored to swear in a group that is made up of two of our Community Service Officers, a lateral transfer, and two others who are just beginning their law enforcement career. Please join me in welcoming our five new officers,” said Chief Chris Davis, Green Bay Police Department.

The GBPD has one recruit officer who will graduate this year from Fox Valley Technical College’s Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board-certified 720‐hour law enforcement academy program.
