INCIDENT: Assault with a Weapon
LOCATION: 4100 block of Foxborough Drive, Fontana
SUSPECT(S): Unknown Adult Male
VICTIM(S): Confidential Adult Female
SUMMARY: On May 18, 2024, at approximately 6:44 p.m., Fontana deputies were requested to respond to an assault in the 4100 block of Foxborough Drive. Deputies were informed a female was jogging along a trail near Foxborough Drive when an unknown male assaulted her. The victim received minor injuries during the assault.
Fontana Police Officers initially responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 3:42 p.m., and through investigation discovered the assault took place in the Sheriff’s Department’s jurisdiction. Detectives with the Fontana Sheriff’s station are conducting a follow-up investigation.
The suspect has not been located. He was described as a white male adult, approximately 25-years of age, with blonde hair.
