Hydrant Flushing starting June 3rd throughout the town 
The annual hydrant-flushing program is beginning in Hawthorne; as well as those residents in North Haledon consuming Hawthorne’s water. This program will start the week of June 3rd and will continue for the next 4 to 6 weeks. The work will be done daily during regular business hours.
No interruption of service will result, but residents may possibly experience slight discoloration or a drop in water pressure. Any resident who notices problems should call 973-427-5330. If there is discoloration, residents should let the tap run for a few minutes until water is clear.
