In response to a statewide rise in serious motor vehicle crashes, the South Brunswick Police Department has begun a series of enforcement details designed to keep our highways safe. We will be focusing on intersections, distracted driving, and speed, but will also be enforcing other violations observed.
 
To be sure that other roadways in our township also receive attention, we will also be continuing our traffic enforcement details as scheduled.
 
Traffic Enforcement Details from May 25th to June 7th:
 
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details over the next two weeks:

West Side:
May 25^th to May 31^st: Raymond Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
June 1^st to June 7^th: New Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
 
East Side:
May 25^th to May 31^st: Route 130: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Traffic Signal Violations
June 1^st to June 7^th: Davidsons Mill Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
 

Road Closure- May 28^th to June 4^th:
 
Fresh Ponds Road (Between Davidsons Mill Road & the East Brunswick Border) will be closed from May 28^th to June 4^th from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for milling and paving. Please plan to use alternate routes of travel during the closure.
