Narrative:
 
A suspect was arrested for a commercial burglary at Rustic Canyon Golf Course in Moorpark.
 
On April 29, 2024, deputies from the Moorpark Police Station responded to a burglary in progress at Rustic Canyon Golf Course in the unincorporated area of Moorpark.  The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies.
 
Security camera footage from the golf course captured images of the suspect as he walked around the building prior to the burglary.  Moorpark Station Detectives investigated the incident and developed information that identified (S) Felix Garcia as being responsible for the burglary. Garcia is transient and from the Los Angeles area.
 
On May 14, 2024, Garcia was arrested by the Ventura Police Department for several unrelated offenses in the City of Ventura.  Garcia was being held in custody at the Todd Road Jail in Santa Paula.  Moorpark Station Detectives arrested Garcia for a violation of PC 459 – Commercial Burglary and he remains in custody in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
