* Until 515 AM CDT.

* At 441 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Dallas Center, or 6 miles northeast of Adel, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Urbandale and Grimes around 445 AM CDT. Johnston and Granger around 450 AM CDT. Polk City, Saylorville Lake, Big Creek Lake, and Big Creek State Park around 455 AM CDT. Ankeny around 500 AM CDT. Alleman around 505 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Minburn, Big Creek State Park, Margo Frankel Woods State Park, Sheldahl, Alleman, and Ankeny Regional Airport.
