INCIDENT: PC 496: POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
LOCATION: 7-Eleven, 4074 Phelan Road in Phelan
SUSPECT: Andrea Varty, 43-years-old, resident of Pinon Hills
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 8:37am, Deputy J. Ballinger observed a truck with an attached trailer displaying no license plate parked next to 7-Eleven in Phelan. Deputy Ballinger contacted Andrea Varty who was sitting in the driver’s seat of the truck.
Through investigation, it was determined the truck had been stolen out of Adelanto on January 14, 2024. Andrea Varty was arrested without incident for possession of stolen property. She was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
