Police Seek Help Identifying Shoplifting Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s assistance in identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with a shoplifting incident that occurred on Monday, May 20, 2024.
At approximately 11 a.m., the suspect entered a jewelry store located on Ferry Street near Congress Street, removed a bracelet, and left the store without paying for the item. The suspect was last seen walking westbound on Ferry Street.
Detectives seek the public’s help in quickly identifying this suspect. He was wearing a tan shirt, black hat, and a black surgical mask.
