Message to our Lakeside community members. 📢 We are facing a challenging situation in the community as Orange and Rockland is preparing the process of replacing sixteen power poles. In order to ensure a smooth and efficient process, we kindly ask for your cooperation and support during this time. Due to the narrow roads in the area, it is crucial that we keep them clear for the power trucks that will be working on replacing the poles. Please refrain from parking on the roads to allow access for the necessary vehicles. We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and if your driveway is blocked and you need help finding an alternate parking spot, please contact the Office of Emergency Management at 973-728-2840, and we will do our best to assist you. Furthermore, we kindly request that residents hold off on scheduling tree removal services with contractors for the time being. The power company trucks require ample space to maneuver, and having clear access to all roads is essential for the speedy restoration of power to the community. Your cooperation and understanding during this challenging time are greatly appreciated.
