* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following counties, Gibson, Obion and Weakley.
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1026 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Martin, Union City, Dresden, South Fulton, Greenfield, Troy, Kenton, Obion, Sharon, Clayton, Cloverdale, Hornbeak, Woodland Mills, Rives, Samburg, McCutchen Heights, Moffatt, Gibbs, Shaffner and Wolverine. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
