Loud Music / Unnecessary Noise Ordinances Strictly Enforced
Attention Haledon Community,
We would like to remind all residents of the importance of respecting noise ordinances in our borough. Please be aware of the following ordinances that may apply:
- 270 7-8 Unnecessary Noise (Peace must be maintained 24/7)
- 233 6 Restricted Loud Noise Activity (No Loud Music Amplification between 10pm - 8am)
No individual is permitted to disturb the peace or act disorderly at any time. By 10pm, loud music should be SHUT OFF in Haledon.
Residents are reminded that under 270 7-8, no person shall cause loud noises that disturb, injure, or endanger the health, comfort, or welfare of others in Haledon AT ANY TIME. This includes behaviors such as yelling, shouting, hooting, or singing, which can disrupt the peace of the community.
We urge all residents to be good neighbors and considerate of one another. Let's work together to uphold the quality of life in Haledon. Our officers will be strictly enforcing these ordinances to ensure the comfort and well-being of everyone in our community.

Atención Comunidad de Haledon,
Queremos recordar a todos los residentes la importancia de respetar las ordenanzas sobre ruido en nuestro municipio. Por favor, tengan en cuenta las siguientes ordenanzas que pueden aplicarse:
- 270 7-8 Ruido Innecesario (La paz debe mantenerse las 24 horas)
- 233 6 Actividad de Musica y Ruido Fuerte Restringida (No Amplificación de Música Alta entre las 10pm y las 8am)
Ningún individuo tiene permitido perturbar la paz o actuar de manera desordenada en cualquier momento. A las 10pm, la música alta debe APAGARSE en Haledon.
Se recuerda a los residentes que, bajo el 270 7-8, ninguna persona debe causar ruidos fuertes que molesten, perjudiquen o pongan en peligro la salud, comodidad o bienestar de otros en Haledon EN CUALQUIER MOMENTO. Esto incluye comportamientos como gritar, vociferar, ulular o cantar, que pueden perturbar la paz de la comunidad.
