Southeastern Roane County in central West Virginia... Raleigh County in southeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Wyoming County in southern West Virginia... Clay County in north central West Virginia... Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 524 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Crab Orchard, or near Beckley, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Beckley, Summersville, Fayetteville, Clay, Babcock State Park, Oak Hill, Montgomery, Mullens, Mount Hope, Mabscott, Ansted, Sophia, Clendenin, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, and Pinch. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 10 and 21, near mile marker 23, and between mile markers 31 and 42. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 81.
